interactive kids book called Wompus Stompus by Mollie Nelson. At first glance, I thought it might be one of those gimmicky titles, but it completely won us over. The story is wild, the interactive elements are cleverly done, and my niece literally howled with laughter trying to stomp like a Wompus. It's rare to see a book blend playfulness with narrative in such a balanced way.
